It's my Blog and I can cry if I want to...

Today was such a long day.

I fell just shy of my call count so I had to make 50 cold calls today and log them. I missed the gym and skipped lunch to get it done.

Jon is back in my hometown playing a rock show for a lot of my ex-classmates that I have not seen in over ten years. That is odd.

Oh and did I mention that the paper I work for printed the first local review of Jon’s new record today? (edited out the rant for obv reasons)

Well listen up:
Take That!
and
Take THAT!

(end rant)

I feel better now

Well I can say I've been inside Chilcoot Charlie's now. Went there about 9pm, after I got out of work. The guy up front said they had just gone out for a bite & would be back around 10. We sat down & I got a diet coke. Had about 1/2" of the drink when my cell phone rang & I got called back into work. Didn't get to see the guys :~(, but left a message to call me, I'll feed them & get them to the airport tomorrow!

HSSSSSssssssssssssssss to the unnamed paper... That is why I don't put much stock in reviews (no offense Drake). Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but in the end it's what you like that matters.

Michelle - I looked at the review in The Stranger and it is pretty obvious...he wants it to be the early 90's again and Jon to record something that sounds like The Posies. He definitely comprehends the album well, but, complains when it veers around, which makes absolutely no sense because that is how life is. It sounds as if the reviewer would just assume have Jon change the words to "Dream All Day" and record it 10 times. I guess to that genius a songwriter is not supposed to grow.
Maybe you could stop by his desk and suggest he review Green Day or Bad Religion, because they have sounded exactly the same for 25 years and he wouldn't have to be so "confused" following an album.

You should so send ths as a letter to the ed in The Stranger. I would, but I can't since I work here and all and I need to pay rent.
