For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her

When I first saw this photo of a billboard in New York I thought: Emily, you are my HERO!

But then my hero worship was ruined by this article that explains what was really going on:

"A billboard in LA and New York has gained a lot of attention and buzz recently. The billboard reads: ‘Hi Steven, Do I have your attention now? I know all about her, you dirty, sneaky, immoral, unfaithful, poorly-endowed slimeball. Everything’s caught on tape. Your (soon-to-be-ex). P.S. I paid for this billboard from OUR joint bank account.’ Some viewers thought it was a real personal ad, while others were skeptical. The billboard is actually part of a mystery ad campaign for a new cable TV show. This type of buzz is called viral advertising and allows companies to produce cheaper ads because most of the advertising is created by people talking about the ad and forwarding around the piece on the internet."

I almost wish it were real...

Beautiful

This is a music video I made with the help of Posies fans from Dear23 & Myspace who donated their photos to the cause. The whole thing was shot using the video function on my little digital camera. The outdoor shots were from New York & Seattle.

The New York trip was amazing!

We had such a great time, the hotel was perfect and the weather could not have been better. Got to catch up with some old friends and got to make some new friends. The only downer was on the third day when my camera decided to stop working. The memory card was corrupt or something. Anyhow, we fixed it by getting a new card, but I'm sad that I lost all of the photos from the first few days because they were some of the best days!

I will make a proper post about the many exciting things that happened later this week.

I made a few vids of Jon's Union Hall show, so I will post those here.
